What does the Vitarain shower filter do?

It reduces free chlorine and its smell, softens the water, and enriches it with vitamin C – your skin and hair feel more comfortable after a shower.

Will the filter fit my shower?

Yes. The SW-071 has standard threaded connections – the filter fits between the hose and the showerhead in a couple of minutes, and no tools are needed.

What’s the capacity, and how often should I replace it?

Capacity depends on the model: from 2,000 to 10,000 L – that’s several months of normal use. The exact capacity is listed in each filter’s specifications.

Does it reduce the water pressure?

There’s no noticeable drop: the filter is designed for the normal pressure of a shower line and doesn’t get in the way of the usual flow.

Is the scent safe?

Yes. The scent comes from the Korean-made vitamin block itself; it’s light and noticeable during the shower. There are six scents – from cherry blossom to acacia.
